In the aftermath of Greece’s economic crisis in 2010, Giannis Valambous returned to Santorini, inspired by his love for wine and the desire to rejuvenate his family’s vineyards.
Along with his team, they founded Vassaltis Winery in 2014, blending tradition with innovation to create exceptional wines, while honoring Santorini’s heritage sustainably.
